1 DH 1 HELENE FEELING (H215) Raced wide and without cover from the 800 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
1 DH 5 KAHOLO ANGEL (H216) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 4 HUGE WAVE (J197) Shifted in at the start and made contact with TELECOM FIGHTERS. Leaving the 250 Metres was shifted to the inside of REGAL GEM to obtain clear running.
4 3 SOLEIL FIGHTER (J127) Near the 150 Metres shifted in and made contact with REGAL GEM as it was being corrected by its rider.
5 2 STEPS AHEAD (J263) Shortly after the start shifted in and away from HARMONY N BLESSED and made contact with I CAN. Near the 150 Metres was eased when racing in restricted room between KAHOLO ANGEL and HUGE WAVE.
6 7 REGAL GEM (K258) Near the 150 Metres was bumped by SOLEIL FIGHTER which shifted in before being corrected by its rider A Atzeni. Z Purton stated that, in his opinion, the horse did not run out the 1650 Metres of tonight’s race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
7 8 JUMBO LEGEND (G266) Jumped awkwardly. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
8 11 I CAN (H381) Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between REGAL GEM and STEPS AHEAD which shifted in and away from HARMONY N BLESSED.
9 12 FALLON (H219) M L Yeung reported that his mount would be better suited by being stepped up in distance for its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 9 SHANWAH (L123) Jumped only fairly. L Hewitson reported that making the turns in the middle stages his mount lay out towards I CAN and did not appear to appreciate racing around the Happy Valley circuit. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 10 TELECOM FIGHTERS (D482) Became unbalanced when bumped at the start. Trainer Y S Tsui stated that the instructions were to ride the horse with cover tonight as it had not been finishing its races off when leading. He added TELECOM FIGHTERS settled slightly further back in the field than what he had anticipated.
12 6 HARMONY N BLESSED (E061) No report.
