5 8 FRANCIS MEYNELL (J394) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Approaching the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of VIGOR ELLEEGANT.

10 13 FIGHT TIME (H409) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

12 14 VIGOR ELLEEGANT (J375) Slow to begin. Approaching the 1100 Metres commenced to race keenly and got its head up for some distance when being steadied away from RAGING RAPIDS. VIGOR ELLEEGANT continued to race keenly throughout the middle stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea and also found it to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported. Before being allowed to race again, VIGOR ELLEEGANT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
13 1 CAPTAIN LINK (K515) Shifted in at the start and was bumped. In the middle stages raced keenly and near the 900 Metres was steadied away from RAGING RAPIDS.
14 12 GIDDY UP (J020) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
