1 6 INVICTUS DRAGON (K318) Was leaning on the right side of the starting gate as the start was effected and as a result jumped only fairly. Near the 350 Metres was bumped by CHEERFUL WONGCHOY which shifted in slightly. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 7 LUCKY MAN (J315) Between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres was badly held up for clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 3 INVICTUS (L277) No report.
4 5 STAR SATYR (K231) Near the 100 Metres was eased to avoid INVICTUS DRAGON when racing in restricted room between LUCKY MAN which shifted out slightly and INVICTUS DRAGON which shifted in.
5 2 BEST WORLD (L329) Between the 250 Metres and the 150 Metres was shifted to the outside of LUCKY MAN and STAR SATYR to continue into clear running.
6 11 DECISION LINK (K416) No report.
7 13 THE CONCENTRATION (H465) No report.
8 9 CHEERFUL WONGCHOY (L045) Near the 350 Metres shifted in and made contact with INVICTUS DRAGON. Between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres was held up for clear running when awkwardly placed close to LUCKY BID.
9 8 SUPER DRAGON (K389) Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 400 Metres was eased to avoid LUCKY BID which shifted out and away from STAR SATYR. A Atzeni stated that the only explanation he could offer for the disappointing performance was that it did not appreciate the "Good to Yielding” track conditions. Trainer M Newnham concurred with the views offered by Jockey Atzeni. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
10 10 CELESTIAL STRIDER (L009) Slow to begin. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 14 MONEY TYCOON (K423) Jumped only fairly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 1 FLYING FORTUNE (L057) Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
13 4 LUCKY BID (L274) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
14 12 LEATHER GOODS (K401) The performance of LEATHER GOODS, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, LEATHER GOODS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
