Racing Incident Report

Pla. Horse No. Horse Incident
5 MONARCH COUNTY (J421) Sent for sampling post-race.
8 FRANCIS MEYNELL (J394) Sent for sampling post-race.
9 LET'S HAVE FUN (L118) Jumped only fairly. Shortly after the start was eased to avoid PRESIDENT PEGASUS which shifted out. Approaching the 600 Metres was steadied to avoid TIME TO FIRE.
3 HAROLD WIN (J280) Knuckled over on jumping. For a short distance after the 400 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
4 MATZDEN (L133) No report.
2 TOP TIME (K006) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
12 TIME TO FIRE (K117) No report.
13 CHEERFUL WONGCHOY (L045) Bumped shortly after the start. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Raced keenly in the middle stages and near the 700 Metres was steadied to avoid VIEW ALL THINGS.
14 VIEW ALL THINGS (K101) Near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid ORIGIN OF FORM. Z Purton stated that his mount was disadvantaged by the early and middle stages being run outside of standard time and as a result found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
11 ALABAMA SONG (K480) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
7 PRESIDENT PEGASUS (L241) J McDonald stated that when his mount jumped well he elected to go forward. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
6 ORIGIN OF FORM (K517) Near the 900 Metres was steadied when crowded by HAROLD WIN (C L Chau) which shifted in when not sufficiently clear. C L Chau was severely reprimanded. In assessing penalty the Stewards took into account that HAROLD WIN had been racing tight to the inside of FRANCIS MEYNELL prior to the incident occurring. Lay in when placed under pressure in the early stages of the Home Straight.
1 DIAMOND SPARKLE (L182) L Ferraris stated that his mount lay in when placed under pressure in the Home Straight but could offer no excuse for the horse’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 SUPER RUBICK KID (L259) Bumped shortly after the start. Raced keenly in the early stages. For some distance near the 800 Metres got its head up when being steadied to obtain cover behind MONARCH COUNTY.
WV EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS (H170) Withdrawn on 23.5.26 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter DIAMOND SPARKLE. Before being allowed to race again, EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
