Racing Incident Report

Pla. Horse No. Horse Incident
1 JOYFUL JOY (L322) Shortly after the start was crowded between ANOTHER WORLD and SUPER SICARIO which shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 MASTER LUCKY (K582) Sent for sampling post-race.
8 SOLID CAR (K058) Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
6 GRAND PATCH (L293) In the middle stages raced keenly and leaving the 700 Metres was steadied to avoid GOLDEN WIN which shifted in slightly. Held up for clear running between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres. Between the 200 Metres and the 150 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.
9 GOLDEN WIN (L026) Near the 900 Metres, when racing keenly, was steadied to avoid MASTER LUCKY (A Atzeni) which shifted in when not fully clear. A Atzeni was advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground.
3 ANOTHER WORLD (K005) No report.
12 STAR SATYR (K231) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. For some distance near the 100 Metres was held up for clear running behind POSITIVE SMILE which was giving ground.
7 NOBLE PATCH (L282) Bumped at the start. K C Leung stated that the intention was to ride the horse in a more conservative manner but when a number of runners to his outside did not continue forward this resulted in NOBLE PATCH holding a more forward position than anticipated.
4 POSITIVE SMILE (J467) When questioned regarding the horse racing in a more forward position Z Purton stated that whilst the instructions were to be midfield POSITIVE SMILE commenced better than usual which resulted in it holding an on-pace position. He said when a number of runners to his outside did not continue forward this resulted in POSITIVE SMILE racing keenly and the horse settling outside the lead. He added as a consequence POSITIVE SMILE was unable to finish the race off. Trainer D A Hayes confirmed the instructions were to hold a midfield position. He said the horse was not suited by settling outside the lead. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
13 SUPER SICARIO (K306) Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped.
14 CALIFORNIA BANNER (J132) Near the 750 Metres was hampered when taken wider by POSITIVE SMILE which shifted out. CALIFORNIA BANNER then raced wide and without cover thereafter. M Chadwick stated that his mount was disadvantaged by being pressured in the lead and with CALIFORNIA BANNER racing first up it gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
5 GALLANT EPOCH (J451) Shortly after the start was hampered when crowded by MASTER LUCKY which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY (K002) Jumped only fairly. M L Yeung stated that his mount would derive a fitness benefit from today’s performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
11 MASSIVE REWARD (L331) Shifted in at the start and made contact with NOBLE PATCH. L Hewitson stated that with the early stages being run inside of standard time his mount came under pressure from the 500 Metres and gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
