Racing Incident Report
BEAUTY RUSH began awkwardly.
STAR SHINE and HELENA BABY bumped at the start.
FORTUNE BOOTH was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Also from wide barriers, BEAUTY LEGACY and JOYFUL TRINITY were steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
HELENA BABY was left racing wide and without cover after the 1000 Metres.
At the entrance to the Straight, RACING FIGHTER was shifted in away from the heels of MR SO AND SO.
Passing the 400 Metres, BEAUTY LEGACY was shifted in across the heels of GOLDEN SPECTRUM to obtain clear running.
Near the 350 Metres, TELECOM PUMA was momentarily crowded for room inside BEAUTY RUSH (C Schofield) which shifted in. C Schofield was advised to exercise more care.
Near the 150 Metres, RACING FIGHTER and MR CROISSANT raced tight.
After the race, M F Poon reported that JOYFUL TRINITY’s action deteriorated after the 300 Metres. A veterinary inspection of JOYFUL TRINITY immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Before being allowed to race again, JOYFUL TRINITY will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of BEAUTY RUSH immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
BEAUTY LEGACY and HAPPY FUN were sent for sampling.
