1 4 CAPITAL DELIGHT (H262) Jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 8 GOOD BUDDY (E097) A Badel was fined the sum of $7,500 for using the whip on numerous occasions forward of the saddle in the Home Straight. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 9 MARK THE MOMENT (H088) Between the 250 Metres and the 100 Metres raced tight to the inside of GOOD BUDDY.
4 11 MONTA FRUTTA (H455) No report.
5 1 LIGHTNING BOLT (G130) Jumped only fairly.
6 6 CALL ME DANDY (G469) After the 500 Metres shifted to the outside of GOOD BUDDY to improve and made contact with SELF IMPROVEMENT. Near the 300 Metres became unbalanced when crowded for room between SELF IMPROVEMENT and MONTA FRUTTA (M Chadwick) which shifted to the outside of GOOD BUDDY to obtain clear running. M Chadwick was reprimanded. Noted to have bled from both nostrils after the race. Before being allowed to race again, CALL ME DANDY will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
7 5 SELF IMPROVEMENT (H337) No report.
8 3 TORONADO PHANTOM (E300) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 2 LUCKY EIGHT (G204) Jumped only fairly. Approaching the winning post was steadied away from SELF IMPROVEMENT which shifted out and away from CALL ME DANDY.
10 7 WINGS OF WAR (H162) Made contact with a rail whilst parading behind the barriers and examined by the Veterinary Officer who said after the necessary consultations the horse was suitable to race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 10 MIGHTY ARMOUR (H071) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
12 12 THE GREAT MASTER (H457) Jumped awkwardly. After the race, M F Poon reported that his mount, when caught wide in the early stages, lay out on the first turn and remained racing wide and without cover thereafter. The performance of THE GREAT MASTER, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, THE GREAT MASTER will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
