2 5 EIGHTY LIGHT YEARS (H170) Jumped only fairly. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 11 JOLLY BRILLIANT (K498) Jumped only fairly. Noted to have blood in the mouth after the race.
4 12 ABSOLUTE HONOUR (K260) Sent for sampling post-race.
5 7 GALLANT DESIGN (L161) GALLANT DESIGN, which was fractious in the starting gates when the start was effected, jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Approaching the 900 Metres improved to the inside of REZEKI when that runner shifted out whilst racing keenly. A short distance later GALLANT DESIGN was then steadied when crowded by REZEKI (Apprentice P N Wong) which shifted back in. Apprentice Wong was advised to exercise more care. Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of ABSOLUTE HONOUR.
6 2 ALL ROUND WINNER (K382) Raced keenly throughout the middle stages. Near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid ABSOLUTE HONOUR.
7 9 REGENCY DREAM (K499) Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the inside of JOLLY BRILLIANT.
8 13 INCREDIBLE MOMENT (K275) No report.
9 3 CONRAD PATCH (L106) Bumped shortly after the start. H Bowman stated that his mount travelled satisfactorily throughout the event and responded only fairly in the Home Straight which he attributed to the horse being up in weight for today’s race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 10 GORGEOUS VICTORY (L087) No report.
11 6 STAR SATYR (K231) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. When commencing to finish the race off well over the concluding stages was steadied when crowded by INCREDIBLE MOMENT which was taken out by JOLLY BRILLIANT (D B McMonagle) which shifted out. D B McMonagle was advised to exercise more care.
12 4 REZEKI (J340) Bumped shortly after the start. Raced keenly in the early stages and near the 900 Metres shifted out when steadied to avoid GORGEOUS VICTORY. Near the 200 Metres Apprentice P N Wong dropped her whip. Apprentice Wong stated that from a wide barrier she was instructed to ride the horse conservatively in the early stages to offset the wide draw. She added that REZEKI finished the race off only fairly from back in the field. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
13 8 LUCKY GIBS (L157) K Teetan stated that he was given the option of holding an on-pace position. He said when his mount commenced well he was able to hold a more forward position than at its first race start.
14 14 CHILL PARTNERS (K484) C L Chau stated that from his wide barrier he was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and as a result his mount could not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
LUCK SMILES (K530) Withdrawn on 21.3.26 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter CHILL PARTNERS. Before being allowed to race again, LUCK SMILES will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
