5 13 SERAPH GABRIEL (L108) Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by BEAUTY BOLT.

9 1 LITTLE PARADISE (K246) Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with BEAUTY BOLT. When questioned C Y Ho stated that his mount settled back in the field from its wide barrier. He said from the 650 Metres he was obliged to make a wide run sooner than what he would have liked when EMBLAZON commenced to give ground. He added in the Home Straight LITTLE PARADISE finished the race off only fairly and, in his opinion, may not have run out a strong 2000 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
10 12 DAZZLING FIT (K298) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
11 10 REGAL GEM (K258) Near the 1200 Metres raced tight to the inside of INVINCIBLE IBIS.
12 4 SAGACIOUS LIFE (K507) No report.
13 7 BEAUTY BOLT (K491) Near the 1800 Metres improved to the inside of EMBLAZON as that runner was shifting in. A short distance later BEAUTY BOLT was steadied when EMBLAZON was racing tight to the inside of SERAPH GABRIEL. B Avdulla stated that the instructions were to go forward. He said when his mount jumped awkwardly and then shortly after the start was crowded by LITTLE PARADISE it settled further back than intended. He added in the Home Straight BEAUTY BOLT failed to run on when under pressure. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have sustained a small cut to its left front leg.
14 8 EMBLAZON (K122) C L Chau stated that his mount did not relax during the event when obliged to race wide and without cover. He said as a result EMBLAZON did not run out the 2000 Metres of today’s race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
