4 1 FAIRY HORSE (J144) H Bowman Made contact with the left side of its barrier on jumping and lost ground. Approaching the 200 Metres was directed to the inside of TATTENHAM to continue into clear running.
3 2 COSMO NAVIGATOR (H156) Y L Chung (-3) Sent for sampling post-race.
10 3 COUNTRY DANCER (H436) Z Purton Bumped at the start. Near the 50 Metres was steadied when crowded by URBAN TRIUMPH (K C Leung) which, after improving into a tight run to the inside of COSMO NAVIGATOR, was then taken in slightly by that runner. K C Leung was advised to exercise more care and to ensure there is sufficient racing room when he is improving into runs. When questioned, Z Purton stated that from an outside barrier he was requested to ensure that his mount began well and use the horse’s pace if circumstances permitted. He said after jumping well he was able to obtain a position outside the leader HERO STAR but COUNTRY DANCER raced keenly in the middle stages and as a result was left without a finishing effort. Trainer J Size confirmed the instructions issued and agreed with the assessment of Jockey Purton that COUNTRY DANCER raced too keenly during the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
5 4 URBAN TRIUMPH (H200) K C Leung For some distance after the 100 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running between COUNTRY DANCER and COSMO NAVIGATOR. Passing the winning post was checked when crowded by COSMO NAVIGATOR (Y L Chung) which, after initially shifting in, was then taken in by VULCANUS (C Y Ho) which was racing tight to the inside of SPEEDSTAR (K Teetan) which shifted in. Jockeys Chung, Ho and Teetan were advised in similar circumstances they would be expected to stop riding and straighten their mounts.
8 5 GOOD VIEW GLORY (H154) B Avdulla Jumped awkwardly, shifted in, bumped with COUNTRY DANCER and became unbalanced. Was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages from a wide barrier. K Teetan (SPEEDSTAR) was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that near the 150 Metres he allowed his mount to shift in when not clear of GOOD VIEW GLORY, resulting in GOOD VIEW GLORY losing its running and being checked to avoid the heels of SPEEDSTAR. K Teetan was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Wednesday, 27 November 2024 and to expire on Monday, 2 December 2024 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his good race riding record.
12 6 HERO STAR (D033) L Ferraris No report.
6 7 TATTENHAM (H121) A Badel Approaching the 100 Metres endeavoured to obtain a tight run between COSMO NAVIGATOR and VULCANUS. A short distance later, VULCANUS (C Y Ho) shifted in and crowded the running of TATTENHAM, resulting in TATTENHAM having to be steadied and not being able to be ridden out to the finish of the event. C Y Ho was reprimanded and advised that he must stop riding and straighten his mounts.
9 8 FALCON COURT (J056) A Atzeni Jumped only fairly, shortly after shifted in and made contact with GOOD VIEW GLORY. Was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages from a wide barrier.
2 9 VULCANUS (J150) C Y Ho Bumped at the start. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. C Y Ho was warned in relation to using his whip forward of the saddle in a forehand manner. Sent for sampling post-race.

8 1 JOYFUL LIFE (H426) H Bowman When the pace eased near the 750 Metres was steadied to avoid the heels of THE GOOD DEAL. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when positioned behind GORGEOUS VITALITY and racing tight to the inside of SUPER CHARIZZARD which lay in and away from PODIUM. The Stewards found that the pace of the event steadying at that stage was the reason for the incident occurring.

As a result, HO HO STAR was shifted to the inside of JOYFUL LIFE approaching the 200 Metres to obtain clear running. HO HO STAR continued to lay in and near the 150 Metres improved into a tight run between WINNING HEART and WOODFIRE CHAMP which shifted in slightly. Over the concluding stages HO HO STAR could not be ridden out when improving into a tight run between WINNING HEART and GORGEOUS VITALITY which shifted in.
