Racing Incident Report
The explanations submitted by C Williams (DON SEBASTIAN) regarding
his being late to the Parade Ring were accepted. NEW PLANET missed the start
slightly, was then checked when crowded between SNOWSTORM and DON
SEBASTIAN, both of which shifted ground. When the gates opened, HIGH
SPIRITS bounded in the air. About the 500 Metres, CARACOLER, which was
starting to give ground, got its head up, shifted out close to the hindquarters of
LITIGADO, was checked and became unbalanced. The occurrence was accidental.
Right on the winning post, SILENT PARTNER shifted in abruptly. LITIGADO
was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
