Racing Incident Report

AMBITION was slow to begin. DON FELIPE began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped CENAMIRA. SAND DANCE began awkwardly. With the intention of being ridden with cover today from the outside barrier, LUCKY PACKET was immediately steadied and taken back, however, raced wide throughout. At the 1100 Metres, LUCKY PACKET, which was proving difficult to settle, got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of STAR OF NORTHERN. Making the turn at the 800 Metres, MAIN ATTRACTION was checked to avoid the heels of ATHLETIC GOLD which itself was steadied when awkwardly placed between NATURAL MODEL which shifted in slightly and AFRICAN FOREST which got its head on the side and shifted out across the heels of SAND DANCE which was carried in when barely clear by BULLISH GENERAL. In the circumstances, no action was taken. For some distance after this, AFRICAN FOREST continued to hang out and was awkwardly placed inside the heels of NATURAL MODEL. Also making the turn at the 800 Metres, ASIA RISING was steadied away from the heels of STAR OF NORTHERN. At the 800 Metres, CENAMIRA was steadied and lost ground when awkwardly placed inside the heels of ATHLETIC GOLD which itself was steadied when awkwardly placed inside DON FELIPE and outside the heels of AFRICAN FOREST. Prior to straightening, ASIA RISING became unbalanced when bumped by MAIN ATTRACTION. Near the 200 Metres, NATURAL MODEL was steadied when awkwardly placed between BULLISH GENERAL and DON FELIPE. Also near the 200 Metres, ASIA RISING was shifted to the outside of STAR OF NORTHERN into clear running. Over the concluding stages, SAND DANCE and GLORY YEARS raced tight due mainly to GLORY YEARS hanging in. LUCKY PACKET was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of LUCKY PACKET after the race did not show any significant findings. SAND DANCE and GLORY YEARS were sent for sampling.
