12 8 DRAGON JOY (J278) Bumped at the start. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. For a short distance near the 400 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run between GHORGAN and WINNING GOLD. After the event, K Teetan stated that his instructions were to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages. He said DRAGON JOY raced a little keenly during the event and finished the race off only fairly and as a result may not have run out a strong 1600 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
13 2 TOP GUN (J249) No report.
14 1 GHORGAN (K199) Made contact with the left side of its barrier on jumping. After the event, L Ferraris reported that his mount raced too keenly during the early and middle stages and did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
