1 4 HARMONY GALAXY (J266) Sent for sampling post-race.
2 10 KINGLY DEMEANOR (H486) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 11 ROMANTIC FANTASY (H168) Shortly after the start made contact with OCEAN IMPACT when taken out by SMART CITY. A Atzeni stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position but his mount did not show sufficient pace to do so.
4 3 NOBLE PURSUIT (H324) No report.
5 2 ROMANTIC LAOS (G476) Trainer W K Mo advised that he had instructed H Bowman to take up a forward position, similar to when it performed well at its last start on 11 March 2026.
6 9 SMART CITY (J213) Shifted out on jumping and made contact with ROMANTIC FANTASY, resulting in K Teetan having to correct his mount.
7 12 SPLENDID FORCE (K120) After travelling a short distance was steadied when crowded between ROMANTIC LAOS which shifted out slightly and FOREVER GLORIOUS which lay in despite the efforts of its rider.
8 1 ENTHRALLED (K252) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Shortly after the start was steadied to avoid OCEAN IMPACT when OCEAN IMPACT was taken out. After the 300 Metres was shifted to the outside of CAN’T GO WONG to continue into clear running. Between the 200 Metres and the 150 Metres ENTHRALLED then had some difficulty obtaining clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
9 5 OCEAN IMPACT (J502) Blundered on jumping. Shortly after was then steadied when crowded between SHARPEN BRIGHT and ROMANTIC FANTASY which was taken out by SMART CITY which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider. Approaching the 400 Metres raced tight for a short distance to the inside of ENTHRALLED.
10 7 CAN'T GO WONG (H087) Near the 300 Metres NOBLE PURSUIT (J Moreira) shifted out to improve, resulting in CAN’T GO WONG being taken out slightly but then having to be checked to avoid FOREVER GLORIOUS when that runner commenced to give ground. As the Stewards were satisfied that Jockey Moreira was entitled to shift out prior to the 300 Metres no action was taken. As a result CAN’T GO WONG was then badly held up for clear running between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres.
11 6 SHARPEN BRIGHT (H276) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Apprentice P N Wong was warned in relation to using her whip on a horse that was out of contention.
12 8 FOREVER GLORIOUS (G229) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
