2 10 KING OF FIGHTERS (K174) Shortly after the start was checked when badly crowded between KING MILES and PRESTIGE ALWAYS which shifted out and away from SUGAR SUGAR when that runner shifted out despite the efforts of its rider. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 2 JUMBO TREASURE (K249) No report.
4 8 IGOR STRAVINSKY (K086) No report.
5 1 KING MILES (J158) C L Chau reported that after being bumped heavily shortly after the start, when a number of runners to his inside showed superior pace, he elected to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages to obtain cover. <12/3/2026 Additional Veterinary Report> The Veterinary Surgeon reported that KING MILES was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, KING MILES will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
6 3 BIENVENUE (J490) Shortly after the start made contact with VULCANUS due to both runners shifting ground. Z Purton stated that his mount finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight and, in his opinion, was reluctant to race in amongst other horses. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, BIENVENUE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
7 5 SUGAR SUGAR (G016) B Avdulla stated that his mount found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight after settling further back in the field than he had intended. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 7 PRESTIGE ALWAYS (J300) Shifted out shortly after the start and made heavy contact with KING OF FIGHTERS. Approaching the 1000 Metres raced keenly when being steadied to allow SIGHT HERMOSO to cross. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 9 IGOT (K170) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the race an endoscopic examination was conducted on IGOT at the request of Trainer C H Yip. The Veterinary Surgeon said this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, IGOT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
10 6 VULCANUS (J150) Shortly after the start made contact with BIENVENUE due to both runners shifting ground. Approaching the 300 Metres was eased to avoid KING MILES which shifted out to improve.
