Racing Incident Report

1 8 SKY VINO (K054) Near the 800 Metres was steadied when positioned close to the heels of TURIN MASCOT. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 2 DRAGON AIR FORCE (J279) Bumped at the start. Near the 800 Metres was taken wider by SKY VINO and then was obliged to race very wide and without cover thereafter. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 7 ROMANTIC THOR (K012) Blundered on jumping, became unbalanced, shifted out and made contact with DRAGON AIR FORCE. Bumped near the 400 Metres.
4 5 ANOTHER WORLD (K005) Shifted in on jumping and bumped DRAGON AIR FORCE.
5 3 DEFINITIVE (K037) Near the 400 Metres made contact with ROMANTIC THOR when disappointed for clear running to the outside of CHILL KAKA.
6 14 OSI HONOUR (K232) Jumped only fairly.
7 6 THUNDER BLAZE (L188) No report.
8 13 WUKONG JEWELLERY (K314) Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

10 12 STURDY RUBY (H207) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
11 9 CHILL KAKA (J486) R Kingscote reported that he had to make some use of the horse in the early stages to race outside the lead. He said with the early and middle stages of the event being run inside of standard time CHILL KAKA was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 11 LEAPING STAR (L189) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 900 Metres got its head up when being steadied to avoid SKY VINO. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
13 4 I CAN (H381) M F Poon stated that his mount failed to travel throughout the race and, in his opinion, was not suited by racing on the All Weather surface. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
14 1 WINFIELD (K446) L Ferraris stated that with blinkers being reapplied today WINFIELD raced too keenly in the lead and as a result set a faster pace than he would have liked. He added as a result WINFIELD weakened in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of WINFIELD, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, WINFIELD will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
