Racing Incident Report

1 1 SKY JEWELLERY (K032) Became unbalanced when bumped shortly after the start. Leaving the 900 Metres raced keenly and was steadied to avoid AEROVOLANIC. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 3 EVERYONE'S STAR (K172) Between the 400 Metres and the 350 Metres was held up for clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 8 CHILL EASY (L148) Near the 100 Metres shifted out, resulting in its rider C L Chau having to stop riding and straighten.
4 9 PERFECTDAY (K238) Jumped awkwardly and made contact with the left side of the starting gate. Had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres.
5 11 M M CONCORD (L076) No report.
6 4 AEROVOLANIC (K400) Despite being ridden along in the early stages failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. After the 1000 Metres raced keenly and was steadied for some distance thereafter from CHILL EASY. Near the 250 Metres was hampered when taken wider by EVERYONE’S STAR. Approaching the 100 Metres was steadied when crowded between SKY JEWELLERY which shifted in slightly and EVERYONE’S STAR which shifted out and away from CHILL EASY when that runner shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race.
7 6 NUCLEOZOR (K285) Bumped at the start.
8 10 EXCEED THE LIMIT (L267) Shifted out at the start and made contact with MAKE YOU SMILE. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
9 12 WONDERSTAR (J531) On jumping made contact with the right side of the starting gate. WONDERSTAR then bumped with NUCLEOZOR, shifted out and made contact with SKY JEWELLERY.
10 2 MAKE YOU SMILE (K426) Bumped on jumping. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
11 5 GOLDEN CHAMP (L135) Near the 250 Metres was steadied when crowded between SKY JEWELLERY which shifted in slightly and AEROVOLANIC which shifted out and away from EVERYONE’S STAR after being taken out by that runner. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
12 7 URANUS STAR (K511) L Ferraris stated that his mount jumped only fairly and as a result settled further back in the field than what had been intended. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
