Racing Incident Report

1 10 FORERUNNER (G465) Near the 300 Metres shifted out and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 5 BRILLIANT EXPRESS (J321) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 6 ETALON OR (J273) Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start was bumped by WORLD HERO and became unbalanced.
4 11 PATCH OF STARS (J343) Shifted in on jumping and was bumped. PATCH OF STARS, which had been held up, was disappointed for clear running after the 400 Metres between STRATHPEFFER and MR JUSTICE which lay in. As a result, PATCH OF STARS made contact with MR JUSTICE and became unbalanced.
5 9 STRATHPEFFER (H095) Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Near the 300 Metres was bumped and taken out by FORERUNNER which shifted out to improve.
6 12 EURO ROCKS (H153) Lay in shortly after the start and was bumped. After the 400 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of FUN TOGETHER. After the event, C L Chau confirmed that he was instructed to take up a forward position on his mount.
7 2 LESLIE (E471) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running.
8 7 TOP TIME (K006) On jumping was crowded between FUN TOGETHER and LESLIE, both of which shifted ground. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
9 4 FANTASTIC FUN (J364) Bumped at the start.
10 3 SECOND TO NONE (H319) After the event, C Y Ho reported that despite riding his mount along in the early stages it failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position as instructed. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, SECOND TO NONE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
11 8 MR JUSTICE (K072) Lay in near the 400 Metres, was bumped and became unbalanced.
12 14 PERFECTO MOMENTS (J003) Shortly after the start was crowded between STRATHPEFFER which shifted out slightly and FANTASTIC FUN which shifted in after making contact with PATCH OF STARS. After the event, Y L Chung confirmed that from an inside barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position.
13 13 WORLD HERO (J413) Shortly after the start was bumped by EURO ROCKS which lay in before being corrected by its rider. When giving ground after the 200 Metres raced tight to the inside of FUN TOGETHER .
14 1 FUN TOGETHER (H041) After the event, L Ferraris stated that from a wide barrier he was obliged to make use of his mount to take up a position outside the lead. He said when placed under pressure in the Home Straight, under its top weight of 135 lbs, FUN TOGETHER did not respond to his riding. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
