1 9 ENDUED (K033) A Atzeni stated that from the outside barrier and in a race that seemed to lack pace he was asked to hold an on-pace position. Trainer J Size confirmed the instructions and the reasons why those instructions were issued. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 7 SMART AVENUE (K474) Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start made contact with FLUORESCENCE when racing tight to the inside of LUCKY TWIN STARS. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 6 THE RED HARE (K312) Sent for sampling post-race.
4 3 GLITTERING LEGEND (L109) Bumped on jumping.
5 1 THE BOOM BOX (K076) Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running.
6 12 LUCKY TWIN STARS (K126) No report.
7 14 SHAMUS STORM (K031) Raced keenly in the early stages and for some distance near the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid THE RED HARE. Held up making the Home Turn and between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.
8 5 POWER OF VITAM (L171) Jumped only fairly. Shortly after the start was crowded between VIOLET STAR and HYMNBOOK. Between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres was held up for clear running. M F Poon reported that making the Home Turn he was unable to improve when held up behind SHAMUS STORM. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 2 FAMILY JEWEL (J390) Lay in when placed under pressure in the Home Straight.
10 8 VIOLET STAR (L149) No report.
11 4 NATURAL NUMBERS (L166) C Y Ho advised that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages. Trainer Y S Tsui confirmed the instructions issued. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 10 HYMNBOOK (L238) Shortly after the start was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced.
13 13 SHAMZ (L097) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
14 11 FLUORESCENCE (L124) No report.
