4 7 ARTHUR'S KINGDOM (E194) M F Poon reported that in the Home Straight his mount hung in and proved difficult to ride out. Jockey Poon was warned in relation to raising his whip arm above shoulder height.
5 4 LEATHER MASTER (H034) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the 400 Metres shifted out and bumped with SUNNY SHINES. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when held up behind JOYFUL CHAMPION.
6 9 DIAMOND WINNER (H285) Jumped only fairly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
7 3 SUPERB DADDY (D235) Slow to begin. Near the 1100 Metres raced tight to the inside of SUNNY SHINES which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. After the race, L Hewitson reported that, in his opinion, SUPERB DADDY failed to run out a strong 2000 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.
8 1 COLOURFUL BARON (G301) After the race, Z Purton reported that from a wide barrier he was obliged to make use of his mount in the early stages to take up a forward position. He added as a result COLOURFUL BARON was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 2 SUNNY SHINES (H484) After the 400 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when racing in restricted room between FASTPASS and LEATHER MASTER which shifted out and made contact with SUNNY SHINES. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 5 FASTPASS (H040) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
