Racing Incident Report

After arriving at the saddling stalls, it was noted MEMBERS GLORY had lost its left front plate. This plate was reset. MEMBERS GLORY was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said the horse was suitable to race. PRINCELY HORSE, which was standing badly, was slow to begin. GIDDY KIPPER began awkwardly and got its head up. On jumping, MASTER MARAUDER got its head up, shifted in and bumped ELITE WIN. PRODIGY was slow to begin. In the early stages, CHINESE KID proved difficult to settle. Making the Home Turn, ELITE WIN (D Dunn) shifted out to improve and in doing so bumped ENERGETIC PRINCE and carried that horse wider. D Dunn was told whilst the Stewards appreciate competitive riding, there is a limit to how far one can go and he should exercise care in similar circumstances. At the 200 Metres, PRODIGY was steadied when momentarily crowded for room between KING OF SPADES and ON THE TEE which was giving ground. MASTER MARAUDER and MEMBERS GLORY were sent for sampling.
