Racing Incident Report
DYNAMIC COMBO and PAY-DAY were slow to begin. Prior to straightening, LUCKY ENCOUNTER was steadied away from the heels of PERFECT SCORE. After the 400 Metres, LUCKY ENCOUNTER, which was having difficulty obtaining clear running, was steadied and shifted to the outside of GOLD DIGGER. For a considerable distance approaching and passing the 200 Metres, GOLD DIGGER had difficulty obtaining clear running behind SPECTACULAR TIMES and inside BOXING DAY. Then over about the last 100 Metres, GOLD DIGGER again had difficulty obtaining clear running between SPECTACULAR TIMES and SOUND OF SILENCE and because of this was not properly tested. For a short distance after the 200 Metres, DYNAMIC COMBO had difficulty obtaining clear running. Near the 100 Metres, BOXING DAY, which was giving ground, was steadied when tightened for room between LUCKY ENCOUNTER and GOLD DIGGER. SOUND OF SILENCE, MYTHIC STEED and MILLENNIUM DAWN were sent for sampling.
