Racing Incident Report

On jumping, OURAJA and WATCH WHAT HAPPENS were taken across behind runners. Also on jumping, REWARDING STAR blundered. After the 1200 Metres, FAT DRAGON, which in the early stages had been ridden along to go forward and was left racing four wide and without cover, was steadied and taken back to a position with cover. At the 250 Metres, OPERATION SECRET, which was having difficulty obtaining clear running, was checked when disappointed for running between REWARDING STAR and CONGRATS which shifted out. As the Stewards were satisfied OPERATION SECRET had not established rightful running, no action was taken. In the run to the line, OPERATION SECRET hung in. Throughout the race, REWARDING STAR travelled wide and without cover. REWARDING STAR was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of REWARDING STAR after the race did not show any significant findings. CALIFORNIAMOUNTAIN, OPERATION SECRET and CONGRATS were sent for sampling.
