Racing Incident Report

1 5 LE ZONDA (L110) C Y Ho reported that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages to obtain cover. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 11 FORTUNATE SON (J446) Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 2 GLITTERING LEGEND (L109) Between the 350 Metres and the 250 Metres was held up for clear running.
4 3 THE AUSPICIOUS (K004) Jumped awkwardly.
5 7 SHAMUS STORM (K031) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
6 6 FANTASTIC FUN (J364) No report.
7 10 AUDACIOUS PURSUIT (K398) Sent for sampling post-race.
8 1 FALLON (H219) On jumping was bumped by FORTUNATE SON which shifted out. Bumped approaching the 150 Metres. Over the final 150 Metres raced tight between A AMERIC TE SPECSO and SUPER UNICORN which shifted in.
9 8 SUPER UNICORN (H481) Near the 300 Metres was awkwardly placed close to the heels of FORTUNATE SON and was shifted to the outside of FORTUNATE SON to secure clear running.
10 4 A AMERIC TE SPECSO (H037) Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 150 Metres was shifted to the outside of NOISY BOY to continue into clear running and made slight contact with FALLON. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 9 NOISY BOY (J536) M F Poon stated that the instructions were to go forward but to obtain cover. He said when caught wide in the early stages he was obliged to go forward to race outside the lead and, in his opinion, the horse was not suited when unable to obtain cover. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 12 MISSION GIANT (K577) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ACE WAR (J509) Withdrawn on 9.6.26 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice due to being swollen in the right front leg (right front tendon injury) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter SUPER UNICORN. Before being allowed to race again, ACE WAR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
