After the race was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 223.

When questioned regarding the improved performance trainer stated that after racing first up on 9 November 2025 the horse in the event was advantaged by an inside barrier and enjoying a better run during the race which allowed it to finish the race off strongly in the Home Straight - Race 297.

Rider stated that he was given the option of holding a more forward position and after commencing well he was able to comply with his instructions albeit he had to make some of his mount to do so. He added in the Home Straight when runners improved to his outside his mount commenced to give ground and did not finish the race off thereafter. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 238.

2 K081  RIDING TOGETHER  18/01/2026   363  RIDING TOGETHER (K081) rider stated that the intention was to hold an on-pace position with cover. He said in the early stages he allowed a runner to cross his mount which resulted in it settling slightly further back than intended when a number of runners continued forward wider on the track. He added in the Home Straight his mount finished the race off one-paced and he was of the opinion the horse would be suited with the reapplication of visors or blinkers and to be ridden with more urgency in the early stages to hold a more forward position - Race 363.
