12 1 BLING BLING GENIUS (J397) 5 Z Purton Z Purton could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance and added that BLING BLING GENIUS was under pressure 600 Metres from the winning post. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of BLING BLING GENIUS was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, BLING BLING GENIUS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. 10 7 PERFECT PEACH (E488) 4 K Teetan B Avdulla (MEEPMEEP) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that approaching the winning post on the first occasion he permitted his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of CARRYON SMILING, resulting in that horse being crowded in onto PERFECT PEACH which resulted in that horse being checked and making contact with the hindquarters of SMILING EMPEROR. B Avdulla was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 4 March 2026 at Happy Valley. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his excellent race riding record. K Teetan reported that after his mount received interference approaching the winning post on the first occasion it failed to travel at any stage after that.
1 8 RUN RUN TIMING (H403) 6 R Kingscote Sent for sampling post-race.
9 9 MEEPMEEP (H234) 9 B Avdulla B Avdulla pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference approaching the winning post on the first occasion (see PERFECT PEACH). Soon after the start shifted in before being straightened by its rider, however, in doing so bumped STRONGEST BOY.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 12 STRONGEST BOY (H027) 8 H Bentley A short distance after the start was bumped by MEEPMEEP which shifted in. H Bentley explained that due to the fast tempo in the early and middle stages he elected to leave the running line to a three wide position to improve as he felt that the field would come back to him given the fast tempo. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
