COMMENTS AND PROSPECT:
OUTREACH, the son EXCEED AND EXCEL, was trained by Peter & Paul Snowden and he almost won on his debut in G3 Canonbury Stakes over 1100M with Kerrin McEvoy on board, just caught by VANCOUVER who landed Golden Slipper afterwards. OUTREACH is full-brother of Golden Slipper champion OVERREACH and G2 winner STANDOUT, so his trainer Peter Snowden claimed the sprinter with good gate speed and could be a G1 winner if he was not forced to retire due to injuries. OUTREACH commenced stud duties in 2016 at Widden Stud with two black type contests winner and his service fee in 2023 is AUD$ 3,300.
GUSTY FIGHTER was sold at AUD$ 20,000 as a weanling and trained by Clayton Douglas in Australia. After 5 jump-out sessions, he jumped well to sit handy and just won in an 800M session (5th Apr 2023) on soft going. Same sire runners in HK ran on well in sprint events and could handle both Shatin and Happy Valley. Also, based on the performance of his dam and brothers, the bay gelding should be a precocious sprinter.
