Near the 1800 Metres was steadied to avoid MR ALADDIN (A Badel) which shifted in when not quite clear. A Badel as advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground. Raced wide and without cover until near the 800 Metres. The performance of FOREVER GLORIOUS, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, FOREVER GLORIOUS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 2 HAILTOTHEVICTORS (J508) 7 J Moreira J Moreira stated that his instructions were to be in a more forward position but his mount did not show pace in the early stages despite his efforts to do so. He added that HAILTOTHEVICTORS failed to run on when asked for an effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
1 3 ROSEWOOD FLEETFOOT (J524) 10 K Teetan Bumped on jumping. Commenced a forward move from the 900 Metres and raced wide and without cover thereafter. Near the 450 Metres shifted in and made contact with SMART BEAUTY. Sent for sampling post-race.

10 12 MR ALADDIN (H386) 12 A Badel Near the 700 Metres was steadied when momentarily crowded by FOREVER GLORIOUS which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. A short distance later MR ALADDIN was again steadied when FOREVER GLORIOUS was taken in slightly by SMART BEAUTY. A Badel was fined the sum of $7,500 for returning 3 lbs overweight.

10 3 SMART CITY (J213) 8 M F Poon Near the 1300 Metres was steadied when crowded by THE WAY WE WIN which, after shifting in and away from WINDICATOR FAMILY (H Bowman), was then taken in by WINDICATOR FAMILY. H Bowman was reprimanded. M F Poon stated that his mount was under pressure from the 800 Metres before being unable to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
7 4 SPANGLE FORTUNE (G427) 9 C Y Ho On jumping made contact with THE WAY WE WIN due to both runners shifting ground. Approaching the 500 Metres was shifted to the outside of THE WAY WE WIN and made contact with ORIENTAL SURPRISE. SPANGLE FORTUNE was then held up for clear running behind THE WAY WE WIN for some distance thereafter. Near the 300 Metres was steadied when being shifted to the outside of THE WAY WE WIN to obtain clear running.
9 5 MEGA FORCE (K200) 7 L Hewitson Noted to have blood in the mouth at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
11 6 ZETTA FORCE (J546) 4 C L Chau (-2) Bumped at the start. C L Chau stated that his mount was disadvantaged by racing wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

4 10 SMILING EMPEROR (J371) 5 M L Yeung Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with POWER SUMMIT. Near the 750 Metres was hampered when taken wider by MATSU VICTOR which shifted out.
2 11 ORIENTAL SURPRISE (K028) 3 Z Purton Approaching the 500 Metres made contact with SPANGLE FORTUNE when SPANGLE FORTUNE improved to the outside of THE WAY WE WIN which was commencing to give ground. Z Purton stated that the intention was to hold a more forward position, but after jumping only fairly, shifting out and making contact with ZETTA FORCE his mount settled further back in the field than intended. 12 12 THE WAY WE WIN (J493) 10 H T Mo (-2) On jumping made contact with SPANGLE FORTUNE due to both runners shifting ground. H T Mo was fined the sum of $5,000 for using his whip on five consecutive occasions shortly after the start. The performance of THE WAY WE WIN, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, THE WAY WE WIN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Near the 1400 Metres was momentarily crowded by TURIN WARRIOR which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. Near the 1200 Metres CASA ROCHESTER improved to the inside of HEALTHY PONY which was racing tight to the inside of TURIN WARRIOR. A short distance later TURIN WARRIOR (L Ferraris) shifted in when not sufficiently clear, resulting in HEALTHY PONY having to be steadied to avoid TURIN WARRIOR. L Ferraris was severely reprimanded. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

K Teetan reported that his mount failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight but could offer no explanation for its disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <25/6/2026 Additional Veterinary Report> STAR MAC, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. STAR MAC was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D J Hall this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, STAR MAC will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

K Teetan stated that after being crowded at the start he was obliged to make use of his mount in the early stages to lead. He said this resulted in WINNING NOW not being able to finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

8 9 FREE PONY (K229) 12 K Teetan Jumped only fairly. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 600 Metres made contact with RYUI KOKOROE when both runners shifted ground.
12 10 FUN ELITE (J042) 11 L Hewitson Near the 600 Metres made contact with SPIRIT OF PEACE which shifted out slightly. Was left racing wide and without cover from the 600 Metres. L Hewitson confirmed that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages. He added that FUN ELITE made a respiratory noise during the running of the event before failing to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 11 JOY STAR (L235) 4 H T Mo (-2) Jumped only fairly. Leaving the 1100 Metres was steadied when crowded by GOOD LUCK HAPPY (Y L Chung) which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. Y L Chung was reprimanded. When being shifted in to obtain cover behind GEORGIAN SIGMA near the 800 Metres raced keenly and got its head up for some distance thereafter. Near the 300 Metres was eased to avoid GRACEFUL HEART which shifted to the outside of BITS SUPERSTAR to obtain clear running. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, JOY STAR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
9 12 KING ALLOY (K099) 6 M L Yeung M L Yeung stated that his mount may not have appreciated the step-up in grade tonight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <25/6/2026 Additional Veterinary Report> KING ALLOY, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. KING ALLOY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer K H Ting this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, KING ALLOY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Z Purton stated that his mount lay out making the turn near the 500 Metres and finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. 11 6 RED ELEGANCE (H241) 12 K Teetan K Teetan reported that in the early stages his mount, when caught wide, was not travelling well. He said for this reason he elected to restrain his mount to obtain a trailing position behind HORSEPOWER. He added after obtaining cover RED ELEGANCE travelled satisfactorily and he was satisfied with the horse’s finishing effort in the Home Straight.
2 7 PEGAS (L075) 1 C L Chau (-2) Near the 150 Metres shifted in and made contact with COPPER CORE when improving past that runner. Sent for sampling post-race.
7 8 CENTRAL BANK (L222) 5 R Kingscote Jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start was steadied to avoid METRO POWER which shifted out. Leaving the 100 Metres was steadied to avoid BUNTA BABY (C Y Ho) which shifted out. C Y Ho was advised to exercise more care.

He said when COPPER CORE was able to jump cleanly it showed superior pace in the early stages and after racing keenly in the lead gave ground in the Home Straight.

He said throughout the early and middle stages LEGEND WINNER did not travel well and he was obliged to ride his mount along to endeavour to maintain its position. He said when LEGEND WINNER did not respond to his riding and when not in a competitive position near the 500 Metres he desisted from continuing to ride it out. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg. The performance of LEGEND WINNER, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, LEGEND WINNER will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
