A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 2 SO MY FOLKS (K456) 9 J Orman Making the turn near the 600 Metres MR GOOD VIBES shifted out, resulting in SO MY FOLKS improving to the inside of MR GOOD VIBES. A short distance later MR GOOD VIBES shifted in to resume its position, resulting in SO MY FOLKS having to be steadied. SO MY FOLKS then had difficulty obtaining clear running approaching the 400 Metres.

7 5 HAPPY ACTION (K399) 7 A Atzeni Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres lay in and had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted out. Again near the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of SO MY FOLKS.
4 6 ONLY U (J037) 6 Z Purton Jumped only fairly, shifted out and was steadied to avoid HAPPY ACTION.

1 8 WAVE GARDEN (K209) 11 R Kingscote Jumped awkwardly. When questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer C W Chang stated that the horse was advantaged by being down in grade and also appreciate having its first raced start on the All Weather surface. Sent for sampling post-race.

11 10 VON BAER (K198) 12 M F Poon When caught wide in the early stages was steadied to obtain a position with cover behind WAVE GARDEN. Leaving the 600 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied to avoid WAVE GARDEN. M F Poon stated that he was instructed to obtain cover on the horse which resulted in VON BAER settling back in the field. He said after obtaining a position with cover VON BAER found it difficult to make up ground from that position, particularly when the pace of the race quickened from the 500 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 11 HANDSOME BLOND (K241) 8 K Teetan Jumped awkwardly. In the early stages got its head up when being steadied to obtain cover. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

6 9 RYUI KOKOROE (L120) 8 H Bentley Near the 1100 Metres was eased when momentarily crowded by SOO KOO which shifted in and away from NAVAS G. Approaching the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving between JUST FOLLOW ME and GLACIATED. Near the 100 Metres RYUI KOKOROE, which was laying in, was eased to avoid JUST FOLLOW ME which shifted out slightly. The Veterinary Surgeon reported that RYUI KOKOROE had bled from both nostrils after the race. Before being allowed to race again, RYUI KOKOROE will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

7 11 SUPER DRAGON (K389) 11 A Atzeni Jumped only fairly.
12 12 GLACIATED (K272) 7 C Y Ho C Y Ho was fined the sum of $5,000 for returning to scale in excess of 2 lbs overweight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, GLACIATED will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

14 7 SWAGGER BRO (K089) 4 M Chadwick Near the 150 Metres was checked when crowded between DRACO (K C Leung) which shifted out slightly before being corrected by its rider and ALWAYS FLUKE (H Bentley) which, when laying in, shifted in before being corrected by its rider. H Bentley was advised in similar circumstances he should exercise more care and straighten his mounts sooner than what he did on this occasion.

12 9 ALWAYS FLUKE (H252) 10 H Bentley Lay in in the Home Straight and near the 150 Metres was corrected by H Bentley. Jockey Bentley could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
2 10 AQUAMAN (K523) 11 J Orman Jumped only fairly. Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. Sent for sampling post-race.
5 11 DRACO (J115) 9 K C Leung Near the 150 Metres shifted out when obtaining a run to the outside of BLUE BARON, resulting in K C Leung having to stop riding and straighten his mount. Sent for sampling post-race.

4. Whip Rule Offences – 23 September 2026 Happy Valley Racemeeting

Race 2 (38)
M L Yeung (FIND MY LOVE) was warned in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height on one occasion near the 50 Metres.

Race 6 (42)
Apprentice H Y Yuen (FLYING TING LOK) was warned in relation to using her whip on a horse which was clearly out of contention.
