He said after being crowded SUNNY Q settled further back in the field than what he had intended and he was satisfied with the horse’s finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, SUNNY Q will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race. |

She said as RAPID PHANTOM cleared COMET RADIANCE near the 100 Metres she was able to ride her mount along which resulted in RAPID PHANTOM shifting out towards the outside running rail. She said near the 20 Metres when RAPID PHANTOM changed stride she was concerned that it was going to make contact with the running rail which required her to stop riding and again straighten her mount and as a consequence she was unable to ride RAPID PHANTOM out to the finish of the event. After considering the evidence the Stewards accepted her explanation for not riding her mount out to the finish. |

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of ONESHOT, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, ONESHOT will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments. |

Jockey K C Leung was fined the sum of $5,000 for a breach of Rule 155(5) in that he improperly conducted himself during the start of batch 4 of the Conghua barrier trials on 24 August 2026.

After the running of Race 4, the track classification was officially changed from "Good” to "Good to Firm”. This change in the opinion of the Stewards should be recorded as being retrospective. As a consequence of this, the official results will show Races 3 and 4 being run on a track rated "Good to Firm”.
