After the event, B Avdulla reported that his mount was inconvenienced when taken wider near the 100 Metres and finished the race off fairly. Trainer D Eustace confirmed the instructions issued. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. <19/12/2024 Additional Veterinary Report>After the race, APACHE PASS was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. APACHE PASS was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D Eustace this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. Before being allowed to race again, APACHE PASS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
10 6 PERFECT TEAM (H120) A Hamelin Jumped only fairly. Approaching the 600 Metres was steadied to avoid LUCK IS BACK. Near the 300 Metres was taken wider by JOLLY RULER. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Approaching the 100 Metres was eased to avoid LESLIE (Apprentice P N Wong) which shifted out. Apprentice Wong was advised to exercise more care.

When questioned, Apprentice P N Wong stated that her instructions were to settle her mount where comfortable. She said LESLIE began well tonight and as a result she elected to take advantage of the good start and raced in a more forward position than LESLIE’S previous race starts.
