7 4 MY FLYING ANGEL (J174) 3 A Badel Began awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with SUPERB GUY. Making the turn near the 700 Metres was steadied to avoid HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER.

2 7 SUPERB GUY (K323) 4 C Y Ho Slow to begin and then was bumped by MY FLYING ANGEL. Approaching the 250 Metres shifted in slightly and made contact with HAPPY ACTION. Sent for sampling post-race.
1 8 HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER (J002) 1 P N Wong (-7) Making the turn approaching the 700 Metres lay in when racing tight to the inside of TURF PHOENIX, made contact with the running rail and became unbalanced. As a result HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER then shifted out and made contact with TURF PHOENIX. Sent for sampling post-race.
11 9 KOLACHI (J395) 7 R Kingscote R Kingscote advised that he was instructed to have the horse ridden in a forward position. He said when caught wide in the early stages he was obliged to make use of his mount to cross runners to his inside to avoid racing wide and without cover. Trainer D J Whyte confirmed the instructions and said he issued those instructions as the horse had been racing out of form when racing further back in the field. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
4 10 GO GO GO (H196) 9 H Bentley H Bentley reported that the intention was to have his mount settle in a handy position, however, despite riding GO GO GO along in the early stages it failed to show sufficient pace to do so and as a result settled further back than intended.
8 11 TURF PHOENIX (J294) 2 M L Yeung In the early stages lay out when racing keenly and for some distance near the 1300 Metres was steadied to avoid HAPPY ACTION. Making the turn near the 1400 Metres was steadied when crowded between HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER and HAPPY ACTION (A Atzeni) which, after initially shifting in, was then taken in by TEAM HAPPY (K Teetan). Both A Atzeni and K Teetan were reprimanded. Making the turn approaching the 700 Metres was crowded when racing tight between HAPPY ACTION and HAPPYDEARHAPPYDEER which shifted out.

9 2 FLYING SNIPER (L270) 9 M F Poon M F Poon reported that soon after straightening he had concerns with the action of FLYING SNIPER and as a result did not ride it out to the finish of the race. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, FLYING SNIPER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
8 3 HE WAS ME (J535) 7 A Atzeni A Atzeni pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference approaching the 1400 Metres (see MAZING GRACE). Near the 1400 Metres was bumped on the hindquarters on several occasions and became unbalanced. A Atzeni stated that his mount did not appreciate racing on the All Weather surface for the first time. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

12 5 FLASH STAR (K431) 4 C L Chau (-2) Crowded approaching the 1400 Metres. Near the 1400 Metres shifted out and made contact with the hindquarters of ORIENTAL SURPRISE. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again, FLASH STAR will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
5 6 CELESTIAL HARMONY (K059) 1 P N Wong (-7) On jumping shifted out despite the efforts of its rider and made contact with MAZING GRACE. From the 500 Metres until near the 250 Metres was held up for clear running.
4 7 VIVA TASTE (K415) 8 M Chadwick Shortly after the start was hampered when placed in restricted room between FLYING SNIPER and HE WAS ME which shifted out slightly. M Chadwick reported that inside the final 100 Metres he had some difficulty riding his mount out fully when positioned close to KASA PAPA which shifted in.

7 9 ORIENTAL SURPRISE (K028) 5 H Y Yuen (-7) Bumped approaching the 1400 Metres. Near the 1400 Metres was crowded and became unbalanced when FLASH STAR shifted out. Passing the 1300 Metres was steadied to avoid HE WAS ME (A Atzeni) which shifted in when not clear. A Atzeni was severely reprimanded. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
3 10 MAZING GRACE (K166) 2 R Kingscote Shortly after the start was crowded when tightened for room between CELESTIAL HARMONY which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider and WINNING DIAMOND which was taken in by FLASH STAR. A Atzeni (HE WAS ME) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that approaching the 1400 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of ORIENTAL SURPRISE, making contact with ORIENTAL SURPRISE and taking that runner in onto FLASH STAR. As a result FLASH STAR was then taken in onto WINNING DIAMOND, resulting in WINNING DIAMOND being taken across the running of MAZING GRACE, causing MAZING GRACE to be checked and lose its running between WINNING DIAMOND and CELESTIAL HARMONY. A Atzeni was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Wednesday, 18 November 2026 at Happy Valley. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 2 and also considered his very good race riding record.
6 11 WINNING DIAMOND (K216) 3 K Teetan Shortly after the start was bumped when tightened for room between MAZING GRACE and FLASH STAR. Crowded approaching the 1400 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
1 12 SPEEDY TRIDENT (K230) 12 M L Yeung When questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer Y S Tsui stated that the horse had obtained a fitness benefit from its two runs this preparation and also had appreciated racing on the All Weather surface. Sent for sampling post-race.

She added as a consequence ROBOT KNIGHT settled further back in the field than intended. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 2 TURBO JEFFERIES (L328) 2 H Bentley Jumped only fairly. H Bentley reported that whilst his mount raced in a more forward position he was able to do so without having to make use of TURBO JEFFERIES in the early stages. 11 5 DAILY TROPHY (H283) 10 K Teetan K Teetan reported that his mount lay out making the turn approaching the 600 Metres and failed to stretch out when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 6 SO MY FOLKS (K456) 9 K C Leung Shortly after the start was bumped by DAILY TROPHY which shifted in slightly.
4 7 CONRAD THE GREAT (K217) 1 L Hewitson Trainer D J Whyte advised that he had instructed L Hewitson to have CONRAD THE GREAT ridden in a forward position from the inside barrier, however, he did not expect the horse to lead.
1 8 MACANESE MASTER (J532) 11 H Y Yuen (-7) Approaching the 1150 Metres was bumped by DAILY TROPHY which shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 9 SWAGGER BRO (K089) 5 R Kingscote Had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early stages of the Home Straight and approaching the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of VIVA CHALEUR to continue into clear running. Noted to have sustained a laceration to the right hip after the race.

Near the 250 Metres shifted to the outside of NOISY BOY to secure clear running, however, a short distance later, was then steadied when disappointed for clear running between NOISY BOY and PRECISION HOPE. TURIN MASCOT was then obliged to shift to the outside of PRECISION HOPE approaching the 150 Metres to secure clear running.

8 4 NOISY BOY (J536) 10 C L Chau (-2) C L Chau stated that he was instructed to endeavour to obtain a position with cover. He said when caught wide in the early stages and when the race was being run outside of standard time he allowed NOISY BOY to stride forward to attempt to avoid racing wide and without cover. He added when the pace of the event quickened he was obliged to remain racing wide and without cover for the remainder of the event. Trainer C H Yip confirmed the instructions were to ride NOISY BOY with cover as the horse did not finish its race off when ridden forward to lead at its previous race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
1 5 YODA'S CHOICE (J146) 5 H Y Yuen (-7) Sent for sampling post-race.
11 6 FIREFOOT (J183) 1 K Teetan K Teetan advised that the intention was to race in a more forward position, however, FIREFOOT did not muster sufficient pace despite being ridden along in the early stages. He added that FIREFOOT was unsuited by settling back in the field and found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight from that position, particularly after being held up behind RAGGA BOMB for some distance after the 500 Metres. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of FIREFOOT was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, FIREFOOT will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. 9 10 SUPREME MASTERMIND (K387) 7 A Atzeni Shortly after the start shifted out and made contact with BULL ATTITUDE. Near the 450 Metres was steadied when crowded between BULL ATTITUDE and FIREFOOT (K Teetan) which shifted out when awkwardly placed close to the heels of RAGGA BOMB which was commencing to give ground. K Teetan was reprimanded. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
5 11 BULL ATTITUDE (K305) 8 L Hewitson Shortly after the start was bumped by SUPREME MASTERMIND. Passing the 1600 Metres, when racing keenly, was steadied to avoid STORM RUNNER. Near the 700 Metres became awkwardly positioned close to PRECISION HOPE when endeavouring to obtain a position with cover behind that runner. Near the 450 Metres was bumped and became unbalanced when SUPREME MASTERMIND was taken out slightly. Lay out in the early stages of the Home Straight and near the 250 Metres L Hewitson was required to change his whip through to his left hand.

3 1 ARMOUR WAR EAGLE (J039) 11 K C Leung Shortly after the start was checked when crowded between BETTER AND BETTER and EVERSTAR which was taken out by VIEW OF COSMOS.
9 2 ENDURANCE EXPRESS (L397) 7 H Y Yuen (-7) When questioned Apprentice H Y Yuen stated that her instructions were to have the horse ridden in a forward position. She said after the horse began only fairly she then endeavoured to ride it forward to comply with her instructions, however, was unable to do so when positioned behind VIEW OF COSMOS. She said from the 950 Metres her mount then commenced to race keenly and despite her efforts to settle her mount ENDURANCE EXPRESS continued to race keenly. When questioned as to why she did not allow ENDURANCE EXPRESS to stride forward, Apprentice Yuen stated that as the horse was racing in blinkers for the first time she was concerned had she done so her mount would be required to do too much work and for this reason she maintained her position to the outside of VIEW OF COSMOS where she felt ENDURANCE EXPRESS was given the best opportunity to finish the race off from.
1 3 CENTRAL BANK (L222) 8 C L Chau (-2) Raced keenly in the early stages. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 4 FLOWING RICHES (K293) 6 C Y Ho C Y Ho reported that the intention was to hold a more forward position, however, after FLOWING RICHES jumped awkwardly, this prevented him from being able to ride in accordance with his instructions and as a result settled further back. Whilst the Stewards were satisfied that the riding of C Y Ho, 6th placegetter, over the concluding stages did not affect the horse’s finishing position, he was nonetheless reminded of his obligation to ensure that he fully rides his mounts out to the finish of the race.

10 9 BETTER AND BETTER (K277) 12 A Badel Shortly after the start was bumped by ARMOUR WAR EAGLE and became unbalanced. A Badel reported that he was instructed to endeavour to obtain a position with cover. He said from the outside barrier he was caught wide in the early stages and when the early stages of the event were being run outside of standard time his mount commenced to race keenly. He said he therefore elected to stride forward and obtained a position outside the leaders albeit wide and without cover. He added that as a result BETTER AND BETTER was not able to finish the race off in the Home Straight and would be better suited being ridden more conservatively. Trainer F C Lor confirmed the instructions issued. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

11 11 EVERSTAR (K264) 10 H T Mo (-2) Shortly after the start was checked when crowded between ARMOUR WAR EAGLE and VIEW OF COSMOS which shifted out. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer” which had previously been reported.

10 2 ANOTHER WORLD (K005) 14 C Y Ho When questioned C Y Ho stated that from the outside barrier he was instructed to ride ANOTHER WORLD conservatively. He said in the early stages he was able to shift his mount in behind runners and settle at the rear of the field. When questioned regarding his riding on the Home Turn and the early part of the Home Straight and if there was an opportunity to shift to the outside sooner than what he did, Jockey Ho stated that when he observed LUCKY BID shift out his intention was to improve between LUCKY BID and KYOTO SPRING, however, when LUCKY BID then shifted back in, ANOTHER WORLD was then disappointed for this run. He added he became held up for some distance thereafter before shifting to the outside of LUCKY BID near the 250 Metres where he was able to secure clear running. Trainer C H Yip confirmed the instructions were to ride the horse in a conservative manner to offset the outside barrier. He added that he also asked Jockey Ho to endeavour to look for inside runs in the Home Straight to save ground.
6 3 HAPPY TERCENTENARY (L185) 12 A Badel Near the 1300 Metres was hampered and taken wider by CALIFORNIA STAR.
13 4 EXCELLENCE VALUE (K093) 2 H T Mo (-2) Shortly after the start shifted out and away from NIGHT PUROSANGUE and made contact with PERFECT TEAM.
8 5 NIGHT PUROSANGUE (J510) 1 A Atzeni A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, NIGHT PUROSANGUE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. Sent for sampling post-race.
7 6 CHILL KAKA (J486) 13 R Kingscote From the 400 Metres until the 300 Metres was held up before shifting to the outside of JOLTIN to secure clear running. R Kingscote reported that he was issued with no specific instructions as to where to position his mount. He said from his wide barrier he observed several runners to his inside attempting to maintain their positions and rather than risk continuing to be caught wide he elected to restrain his mount near the 1300 Metres where he obtained a position with cover at the rear of the field. Trainer P F Yiu confirmed the instructions issued.
12 7 CALIFORNIA STAR (J123) 7 Y L Chung (-2) Jumped only fairly. Making the first turn near the 1500 Metres was steadied and shifted out to avoid JOLTIN. CALIFORNIA STAR then raced keenly and near the 1300 Metres was steadied to avoid JOLTIN. Near the 700 Metres was steadied away from JOLTIN when taken out by KYOTO SPRING. Y L Chung stated that his mount raced keenly throughout the early and middle stages and as a consequence was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

She said from her wide barrier she endeavoured to comply with her instructions, however, when unable to obtain cover she was then left racing wide and without cover for the remainder of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Race:9 (147) PYRAMID HILL HANDICAP (Sec1) Class 3 1650 m

3 1 TOP DRAGON (J481) 1 J Orman Near the 700 Metres was steadied when awkwardly positioned to the inside of MIGHTY STEED. The Stewards inquired into the reasons for TOP DRAGON being severely checked between PRAY FOR JUSTICE (K Teetan) and LUCKY SAM GOR (C L Chau) passing the winning post. K Teetan was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that passing the winning post he allowed his mount to shift out, contributing to TOP DRAGON being severely checked between PRAY FOR JUSTICE and LUCKY SAM GOR. In all the circumstances K Teetan was issued with a severe reprimand and advised that in similar circumstances he would be expected to make a greater effort than what he did on this occasion to prevent his mounts from shifting ground. C L Chau was found guilty of a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that passing the winning post he allowed his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of TOP DRAGON, contributing to TOP DRAGON being severely checked between LUCKY SAM GOR and PRAY FOR JUSTICE. In issuing Jockey Chau with a severe reprimand the Stewards were mindful that LUCKY SAM GOR did shift in quickly which provided Jockey Chau with limited opportunity to straighten his mount. However, the Stewards advised Jockey Chau that he must react with more urgency in similar circumstances to correct his mounts.

1 3 LUCKY SAM GOR (K114) 6 C L Chau (-2) Blundered shortly after the start. C L Chau was found guilty of a careless riding charge for causing interference passing the winning post (see TOP DRAGON). Sent for sampling post-race.
5 4 SKY VINO (K054) 11 C Y Ho Shortly after the start was bumped by ALL ROUND WINNER. Lay out making the Home Turn. C Y Ho stated that he was instructed to ride his mount conservatively from his wide barrier.
14 5 SOVEREIGN FUND (J402) 4 K C Leung Passing the 1300 Metres was steadied to avoid MIGHTY STEED which was being restrained when endeavouring to obtain a position behind PRAY FOR JUSTICE. K C Leung stated that his mount failed to run out tonight’s distance of 1650 Metres and would be better suited by being dropped back in distance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 6 DRAGON AIR FORCE (J279) 3 M Chadwick M Chadwick could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 7 THUNDER BLAZE (L188) 13 B Avdulla B Avdulla reported that his instructions were to have the horse ridden in a forward position. He said from his wide wife barrier he rode his mount forward in an endeavour to comply with his instructions. He said when positioned wide leaving the 1400 Metres his mount then commenced to race keenly and therefore he allowed THUNDER BLAZE to stride forward and cross PRAY FOR JUSTICE near the 1300 Metres. He added after obtaining the lead near the 1300 Metres THUNDER BLAZE continued to race keenly despite his efforts to have it set a more genuine tempo. He said as a result of THUNER BLAZE racing keenly his mount was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight. Trainer D J Hall confirmed the instructions issued to Jockey Avdulla and concurred with his views that THUNDER BLAZE was obliged to do too much work to cross to lead from its wide barrier as well as racing too keenly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

An inquiry into the reasons for SUPREME AGILITY being checked near the 350 Metres was adjourned until the Happy Valley racemeeting on Sunday, 1 November 2026. Approaching the 100 Metres shifted to the inside of ALL ROUND WINNER to continue into clear running. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out to the end of the race when MIGHTY STEED shifted out.
