M F Poon was reprimanded. After the event A Badel stated that his mount jumped awkwardly and lost ground. He said in the early stages BEAUTY WAVES then raced keenly and after being checked making the first turn finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of CASA RUBICK, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, CASA RUBICK will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination which must include additional diagnostic assessments.

7 10 BULL ATTITUDE (K305) 9 L Hewitson Shifted in at the start and made contact with THE HEIR. A short distance later again bumped with THE HEIR.
12 11 LUCKY MAN (J315) 12 L Ferraris Shifted in at the start and bumped YIU CHEUNG VICTORY. After the event L Ferraris stated that the instructions were to hold an on-pace position. He said he was able to cross to race outside DO YOUR PART in the early stages but in the Home Straight his mount did not finish the race off which he attributed to the early stages of the event being run inside of standard time. Trainer D A Hayes confirmed that he had given Jockey Ferraris the option of holding an on-pace position. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of LUCKY MAN was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, LUCKY MAN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Trainer C H Yip confirmed the instructions issued and stated that as the race did not appear to be overly fast he had given Jockey Purton the option of holding a more forward position, particularly due to the horse being up in distance today. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race revealed that the horse had returned an abnormal heart rate requiring further assessment. Following further assessment of the abnormal heart rate, the Stewards will consider if any further action is taken against the horse.

12 4 YOUNG SUPERSTAR (J400) 4 Y L Chung (-2) After the event Y L Chung stated that his mount may not have appreciated the track condition which was rain affected. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, YOUNG SUPERSTAR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

After the running of Race 6, the track classification was officially changed from "Good” to "Good to Yielding”. After the running of Race 9, the track classification was officially changed from "Good to Yielding” to "Good”. This change in the opinion of the Stewards should be recorded as being retrospective. As a consequence of this, the official results will show Race 9 being run on a track rated "Good”.

Assistant Trainer C S Yip, allocated to Mr C H Yip’s stable, was fined the sum of $10,000 under Rule 155(5) for improper conduct in that he improperly used a padded whip on a racehorse at the Conghua Racecourse on Monday, 18 August 2025 as he attempted to lead the horse into the trotting ring. Expert Work Rider Ranveer Singh was also cautioned in relation to his whip use on the horse when he was mounted on it. Mr Singh and Mr C S Yip were advised that a report would be made to the Head of Dual Site Stables Operations in respect to their conduct.
