COMMENTS AND PROSPECT:
SPIETH, son of THORN PARK recorded 5 wins and 4 seconds in 18 starts with winning distance from 1100M to 1200M. He was trained by Bryce Heys at the beginning where he finished 2nd in 2016 Darley Classic that just failed to MALAGUERRA with Brad Rawiller, then finished 2nd in G1 Lightning Stakes that just failed again to TERRAVISTA but held off STAR TURN. He joined David & B Hayes & T Dabernig’s yard in 2018 but no surprise in G1 Doomben 10,000 and Stradbroke Handicap. He joined the stallion roster in 2018 and stationed at Aquis Farm, but he was euthanized at age 10 due to injuries in 2022.
GOR MO TUEN was formerly known as CALL ME LOUIS. He was trained by Amanda Davis at the beginning and transferred to Lyle Chandler’s yard after finished a 3rd on his debut where he collected 3 wins, 1 second and 3 thirds in 10 starts when racing in Australia. He got his first success in a 1350M maiden event by coming from rear on heavy ground at Beaumont, then led all the way to win a 1400M contest at Newcastle and dashed well from rear to win a 1600M benchmark 64 handicap event at Hawkesbury. The brown gelding could both sat at front or settled at rear while he should be able to handle up to 1600M to 1800M.
