Racing Incident Report
RIVER JORDAN began awkwardly, got its head up and lost ground. Approaching the turn at the 800 Metres, SACRED KINGDOM was steadied away from the heels of SUNNY POWER which itself steadied to allow ABLE PRINCE to cross to the lead. After this, SUNNY POWER proved difficult to settle in the middle stages and then for a considerable distance after the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running. Throughout the race, SCINTILLATION travelled wide and without cover. SACRED KINGDOM and SCINTILLATION were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported SACRED KINGDOM had lost its left front plate.
Additional Veterinary Reports (released on 2 May 2008)
The Veterinary Officer reported that SCINTILLATION was this morning found to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, SCINTILLATION will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
