Racing Incident Report

CASA DE FORCA and JADE THEATRE were crowded for room on jumping between STOCK LEGEND which began awkwardly and shifted out and HONEST WAY which also began awkwardly and shifted in.
UNITED WE STAND began awkwardly and lost ground.
From wide barriers, COOL ACE and SPEEDY DRAGON were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
Near the 1050 Metres, UNITED WE STAND momentarily raced in restricted room inside JADE THEATRE which got its head on the side and lay in before being directed out to relieve the tightening to UNITED WE STAND.
STOCK LEGEND made the turn after the 900 Metres awkwardly and shifted out towards the heels of HONEST WAY.
After the 900 Metres, SPEEDY DRAGON was left racing wide and without cover.
Approaching the 600 Metres, BOND A STAR, which was racing greenly, improved to be racing close to the heels of COOL ACE and passing the 600 Metres was steadied.
Passing the 600 Metres, SO WE JOY shifted out from behind HONEST WAY and bumped SPEEDY DRAGON.
Passing the 300 Metres, JUDY’S STAR was shifted to the inside of VOYAGE STAR to obtain clear running. As JUDY’S STAR was directed to the inside of VOYAGE STAR, STOCK LEGEND was momentarily eased away from the heels of that horse.
Throughout the race, VOYAGE STAR travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground.
After the race, J Moreira (RHAPSODY) stated that the horse, which was having its first race start today, raced greenly in the Straight and was inclined to shift ground on a number of occasions, requiring him to stop riding and straighten the horse. A veterinary inspection of RHAPSODY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of VOYAGE STAR and COOL ACE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
TRUE LEGEND and GOOD LUCK FRIEND were sent for sampling.
