7 2 SUPER CONTENTED (H251) Jumped only fairly, was then bumped shortly after the start and became unbalanced. Approaching the 400 Metres became held up for clear running behind UNITED ENDEAVORS and leaving the 400 Metres shifted to that runner’s inside to secure clear running. Near the 300 Metres was then disappointed for clear running between UNITED ENDEAVORS and DRAGON DELIGHT and thereafter had difficulty obtaining clear running when positioned behind DRAGON DELIGHT until near the 50 Metres. Close to the winning post K De Melo dropped his whip. Lay in under pressure in the Home Straight.
8 7 BAEBAE TSOI (E116) Held up for clear running between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres.

10 8 ARTHUR'S KINGDOM (E194) After the race, H T Mo reported that he was instructed to hold a forward position on his mount and ARTHUR’S KINGDOM raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Trainer Y S Tsui confirmed the instructions issued and said that ARTHUR’S KINGDOM had raced disappointingly at its previous race starts when settling back in the field and therefore he had asked Jockey Mo to take up a more forward position today.
11 5 MASTER OF LUCK (G276) In the middle stages raced keenly and for some distance near the 1000 Metres got its head up when being steadied away from DEVIL AND GOLD.
12 6 PRESIDENT'S CHOICE (D038) Bumped shortly after the start. After the race, Z Purton could offer no excuse for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of PRESIDENT’S CHOICE was considered to be disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, PRESIDENT’S CHOICE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. <26/12/2023 Additional Veterinary Reports> PRESIDENT’S CHOICE, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. PRESIDENT’S CHOICE was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C W Chang last Sunday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its right front leg. As previously advised, PRESIDENT’S CHOICE will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.
13 14 HANG'S CHOICE (E311) No report.
14 12 DEVIL AND GOLD (G443) After the race, Apprentice Y L Chung stated that he was required to make some use of his mount in the early stages to take up a position closer to the rail and as a result DEVIL AND GOLD was not able to finish the race off strongly. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WV DARCI LEGEND (G376) Withdrawn on 21.12.23 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (inappetence) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter MASTER OF LUCK. Before being allowed to race again, DARCI LEGEND will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
