When questioned rider stated that after improving to the inside of a runner near the 400M he then was endeavouring to improve between that runner and the 3rd placegetter between the 400M and the 200M, but was unable to do so when the run did not fully develop. He said leaving the 200M when the 3rd placegetter commenced to shift out, that resulted in his mount being steadied when disappointed for clear running between those two runners leaving the 150M. He added after shifting in near the 100M his mount finished the race off reasonably well. Noted to have lost its left front plate after the race - Race 757.
12 H332  HARRY'S HERO  11/06/2025   747  HARRY'S HERO (H332) near the 550M commenced to race keenly and got its head up when being checked to avoid a runner. The horse was then held up for clear running making the Home Turn - Race 747.

After the event rider stated that from barrier 1 he was obliged to make some use of his mount in the early stages to hold an on-pace position, particularly with the race being run slightly inside of standard time. He said in the Home Straight his mount responded to his riding only fairly. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 689.
