2 5 BULLISH CASH (CH049) E Saint-Martin TT Even jump, slotted in on rails in midfield, had a quiet run 6Ls off pace, not asked throughout, made run between horses into straight, closed steadily doing best work late but unable to peg back winner. Honest effort again.
3 14 TOP HONOR (CE183) W M Lai -- Little speed from outset, positioned in back half 8Ls back on rails, not set a task in middle stages and still well back on bend, switched out on turning and made good progress last 200 M to fill place.
4 8 SIR GALAHAD (CG272) S Dye -- Ordinary getaway, restrained back to rear from a wide alley, raced 12Ls or more from lead in running line, aided by tempo, eased 3 wide at 600 M, in impossible spot turning but made plenty of ground in straight to make frame.
5 7 NORTHERNER (CD293) A Delpech XB No pace from outset, drifted back to tail, raced more than a dozen lengths off lead, assisted by even tempo, did little in middle stages, saved ground on bend, angled out and did best work late to be nearest on line.
6 12 CARRIZO CREEK (CE132) F Coetzee B Out with rest, assumed a midfield role, raced 6Ls back in midfield 2 wide line, travelled well throughout, crept closer on bend, didn't let down with usual dash and just finished at same speed last 300 M.
7 3 HIGH INTELLIGENT (CD317) O Doleuze V Fastest away, rolled on showing customary speed to lead, kept proceedings going at an even clip, 1L clear on bend, kicked hard and pinched a break on turning but had no answers when collared at 200 M.
8 6 LIBERAL'S CHOICE (CC345) D Nikolic -- Fast away, didn't have early pace to match them but steadily worked up outside leader, raced 1L back on circle, under pressure to level up at 400 M but couldn't find extra gear. Same speed to line.
9 2 SUPREME GAINS (CG057) D Whyte B Ordinary beginning, mustered to hold a position in front of midfield, raced 4Ls back in 2 wide line, had ideal run, just off speed, niggled on turning, lacked usual dash and struggled in run to line.
10 9 DASH AHEAD (CD199) S K Sit SR Little speed from jump and assumed usual role near to rear, raced on rails before racing 2 wide at 800 M, switched wide turning but didn't close as normally would and made minimal progress to line.
11 4 SIKANDER (CG080) Y T Cheng -- Well enough to break, pressed on but unable to slot in, posted 3 wide without cover 2 to 3Ls back, did share of work with pace on, niggled on bend, hung on to 200 M but faded late when workload took toll.
12 1 AGILITY (CC361) G Mosse XB Tardy to begin, regathered to drive through and sit just behind pace, had ideal trip 3 to 4Ls off speed on rails, lacked pick up when asked on turning, faded out last furlong.
13 10 ON SHAN BRAVE (CH230) M Nunes B Bounced out nicely, assumed prominent spot behind leader, right there on an even tempo throughout, niggled along on turning, gave in easily on straightening and dropped right out.
14 13 PUERTO RICO (CH147) M W Leung XB/H1/TT No pace from outset, raced towards rear, saddle shifted early on, always rearward thereafter, beaten a long way.
