4 INDUSTRIAL EXPRESS (CH103) D Whyte -- Began fairly, allowed to relax behind midfield 4 to 5Ls back, travelled comfortably throughout, eased 3 wide on bend, made good ground down centre to hit lead at 100 M and fight off rivals late for a narrow win.
2 FLORAL NIRVANA (CH232) K L Chui TT Away with rest, slotted into ideal trail 3Ls back in 2 wide line, travelled well and made a 3 wide run turning, advanced with winner and fought on well after being headed to go down in close one.
1 VICTORY TREASURE (CE031) G Mosse V/TT First to hit ground, led easily but elected for a trail when pressured, had ideal run thereafter when pace slackened, improved 2 wide turning and quickly took over lead at 400 M, ran down last 100 M.
6 LONDON EXPRESS (CH107) E Saint-Martin -- No early pace, drifted back to tail, raced 8Ls back unsuited by tempo, saved ground on rails on bend, continued improving into straight and did best work late to be right there in finish. Looking for longer.
3 HOLD HANDS (CH116) C K Tong B Awkwardly away, ended up back with last few 7Ls back in running line, pace in middle not to advantage, travelled 3 wide rounding bend, made many lengths widest in straight to be right there in finish.
9 FANTASTIC GUY (CH025) M Nunes B Reasonable getaway, slotted in nicely on fence 3Ls back, used nothing in run with steady tempo, lacked usual close in straight but did hang last 200 M, could only manage 1 speed over concluding stages.
10 LIVERBIRD (CE055) G Boss B Crowded early, ended up sharing rear 8Ls off leaders, not used in run but harmed when pace steadied, still well back leaving bend, set too big a task on turning and only closed at one pace in straight.
7 PUERTO RICO (CH147) Y T Cheng XB Shade tardy to begin, settled 5Ls back on rails, used little in run, saved ground on bend, unable to dash with rest on turning, struggled in run to line.
5 THE WITCH'S BROOM (CH231) E Wilson -- Began with field, posted 3 wide early and passed on to race outside leader, had reasonable run thereafter when pace slackened, niggled on turning, offered little when they sprinted and gradually faded.
8 SIR LAGO (CH268) O Doleuze B/TT1 Began evenly, went forward to challenge for front, raced to lead going 1L clear, set pace to suit thereafter, soon under siege turning in, gave in quickly and dropped right out. (Jockey reported respiratory noise.)
