4 LHOJONG (CG281) Y T Cheng B/SR Ridden out to take a prominent spot behind leader, suited when pace slackened after early burn, right there on turning but without a run early in straight, closed off reasonably to make frame.
9 MAVERICK (CE199) M Nunes TT Out in line, posted 3-wide without cover, did share of work 3-4Ls back, improved on bend, 4-wide on turning, threatened at 400 M but hard run took toll and just held position last 200 M.

3 INDUSTRIAL EXPRESS (CH103) D Whyte -- Allowed to slide back and take a spot behind midfield 6Ls from top end, advantaged by reasonable speed on, tracked 3-wide with cover on bend, looked a strong chance at 400 M but unable to lift and plugged last bit.
2 ROCKET WIN (CE249) P H Lo P/XB Began with rest, took a forward spot on back of pace, raced 2-3Ls back in 2-2ide line, not used througout, improved 3-wide on turn, right there sharing lead at 400 M but flattened at 250 M and dropped out late.

13 FANTASTIC GUY (CH025) C K Tong B Ordinary getaway, shared rear some 8Ls off pace, suited by pace, still well back on leaving bend, lacked usual turn of foot and only passed tired runners in finish.
7 KINGSGATE GLORY (CH020) K T Yeung B/TT Reasonable jump, drove through to take ideal trailing position 3-4Ls back on fence, not asked in run, same margin down on turning, lacked usual finish last 400 M and just battled away in run to line.
