3 13 BOOMING CITY (CE325) Y T Cheng B/TT Jumped sharply, took a spot behind leader, forced to follow a solid pace throughout, still right there on turning, got split and briefly hit lead at 200 M, kept on well for 3rd given workload.
4 1 ONE WORLD (CH133) B Doyle H/TT Out in line, ended up 4 to 5Ls away on rails in midfield, saved ground in mid-section, took inside runs turning, finished race off strongly making many lengths to be in frame.

6 2 FLORAL EL CUENTO (CJ241) W C Marwing TT Slow into stride, raced back with last few 3 wide with cover, suited by pace to mid-section, still 7 to 8Ls down turning, produced a strong close down middle making remarkable progress last 200 M.
7 4 IMPERIAL APPLAUSE (CG209) M Du Plessis B Poorly away, soon last and the best part of 10Ls away, suited by pace, well back and pushed along on bend, made many lengths in straight to be not far behind them in finish.
8 6 STEP TO WIN (CG167) K T Yeung B/TT Away reasonably, worked forward from a wide gate to race outside the leader, did share of work with solid pace on, still there challenging to bend, overhauled at 200 M but held on OK given workload.
9 10 UPSIDE OF ANGER (CH317) Z Purton XB No pace early, soon back with last few, 9Ls off solid speed in mid-section, still well back to bend, made useful progress in straight without the clearest run, not ridden out late.
10 5 POT OF GOLD (CJ286) K L Chui TT Began in line, assumed a midfield position 4Ls away in 2 wide line, had no excuses in run, same margin back and urged along on turning, just held ground in run to line.
11 11 REGENCY HORSE (CE229) F Coetzee B/TT Jumped with first few, ended up in 1 out 1 back spot, didn't have easy time with solid pace on, had chance turning in but failed to run on and struggled late.
12 9 WILLING STORM (CJ187) E Saint-Martin H Ordinary getaway, posted 3 wide without cover 5Ls away in mid-section, had a hard run to turn, unable to keep on in straight and weakened out last 200 M.
13 12 TEAM WORK (CH276) H W Lai B Amongst fastest to begin, pressed on to take up running, forced to do share of work with pressure from outside horse, under siege at 350 M, weakened easily thereafter.
