7 KING DANCER (CK129) C Soumillon SR Tardy to begin, ended up in midfield role 3Ls off leaders, easy time in mid-section, travelled well turning, without a run to 200 M, picked up sharply when clear and closed over top to win with authority.
5 HANNAH KING PRAWN (CJ178) K L Chui TT Began only fairly, pressed on but posted no better than 3-wide, only 2Ls away throughout and did have cover, aided by steady tempo to bend, made strong challenge and hit 1ead at 100 M, collared final 50 M.
13 SUPERNOVA (CJ032) J Lloyd SR Drifted back soon after start, positioned well back 5Ls off lead, not helped by steady speed, still well back to bend, shifted out turning and closed hard down middle to take place.
6 YOUNG ELITE (CJ349) W C Marwing -- Began well, slotted into box seat 1 out 1 back, had a dream run to bend with no speed on, no clear run for majority of straight and checked at 250 M, never really saw daylight and was unlucky not to be closer.
1 SPECIAL K (CK114) K C Leung CP First to hit ground, showed more initiative and went forward to race outside leader, shaded inside horse but travelled a bit keenly under slow speed, held front to 100 M but couldn't sustain effort.
3 OSVALDO (CK075) C K Tong TT Slow out, lost 3Ls, mustered to take spot just behind midfield 4Ls away, overraced in mid-section, made steady headway in straight but just couldn't go with first few last bit.
4 APPRECIATION (CK161) D Whyte B Fast away, pressed on but caught 3-wide without cover, right there 1/2L back to bend, in mix until 200 M when run peaked, checked shortly after and dropped off last bit.
8 RAISING SUN (CK154) G Mosse -- Began smartly, took up front running easily. Shaded throughout by outside horse, had easy time to bend, showed little fight and just struggled at same speed late.
9 SUPER SATIN (CK116) D Beadman -- Even jump, took a spot on rails 2-3Ls away behind leader, enjoyed soft trip to turn with average sections, didn't see clear running until 150 M and only clear run race was over.
10 VICTORY STYLE (CG120) B Prebble -- Out with line, trapped 3-wide in midfield 3-4Ls away, chances not helped by average speed on, couldn't produce usual sprint and struggled late.
2 UPSIDE OF ANGER (CH317) Z Purton XB Standard getaway, caught 3-wide but did have cover, raced 5-6Ls back at rear, harmed by tempo throughout, well back turning, never nearer.
11 WAIT FOR ME (CE332) C W Wong B Drifted back from an awkward alley, raced 5Ls away at tail, disadvantaged by slow speed at top end, had field to beat turning, unable to dash and never factored.
12 KEEP ME (CJ079) Y T Cheng -- Moderate beginning, settled behind midfield 4Ls back in running line, not helped by speed, only battled in straight.
