Racing Incident Report
After being boxed, WHYTELLYOU became fractious and attempted to get underneath the front of its gate. The stalls were opened, WHYTELLYOU was released, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said that in his opinion the horse was suitable to race. Before the race can race again, it will have to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial (stalls test). WASABI jumped awkwardly, shifted in abruptly, as a consequence NIGHT STAR was checked. S Dye (PRIME WITNESS) said before the race his intention had been to travel pretty much down the centre of the track, but at about the 600 Metres after looking both to his inside and his outside, he believed it was in the best interests of PRIME WITNESS to shift out and race beside CRYSTAL CHARM which he said at that time was travelling well as he was. The explanations submitted were accepted. PRIME WITNESS was sent for clinical veterinary examination and routine testing.
