Racing Incident Report
WONDERFUL ERA jumped awkwardly and shifted in. KEY LARGO jumped badly, bumped the outside of its gate. JOINT PEACE, which was having its first race start, jumped very badly. On jumping, K S Yu (KEWINS) was momentarily unbalanced. E Legrix (TRAVELLER STAR) said although the horse had drawn the inside gate, near the 800 Metres he elected to shift across the heels of VICTORY MARBLE and IT'S MY DAY to be racing towards the centre of the track and on the outside of IT'S MY DAY. He said he was able to change course as he did without in any way interrupting the horse's run. He also said this was a decision he made as he considered it was in the best interests of TRAVELLER STAR. After the race, it was reported that WONDERFUL ERA had bled from both nostrils.
