Racing Incident Report

On jumping, WINNING PLEASURE shifted out abruptly and bumped the hindquarters of MEHBOOB THE THIRD which in turn shifted ground and bumped HANDBAG'S HONOUR. LASER GLORY and MILLENNIUMTREASURE were slowly away. About the 200 Metres, ST VIVANT, which was giving ground, became unbalanced, shifted out and was momentarily awkward on the hindquarters of EVER MORE. D Whyte (BACCHUS) explained over the concluding stages the horse felt very uncomfortable and did not finish the race off as he thought it should. Subsequent to the race, BACCHUS was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon who said there was a significant amount of blood in the trachea. He recommended the horse to be rested. This recommendation will be taken up with Trainer K W Lui and announcements made subsequent to that. BACCHUS was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
