Racing Incident Report
HELENE EXPRESS was withdrawn on 3.5.02 on veterinary grounds (bled after finishing track work). In the early stages, BLACK KNIGHT pulled hard and threw its head about. For some distance in the early stages, MOMENTUM raced hard and threw its head about when close to the heels of GOGGLES. About the 800 Metres, MOMENTUM, which was still pulling, shifted from behind GOGGLES to go forward. About the 500 Metres, DR MORE was severely checked when held up behind BLACK KNIGHT which was weakening, tight inside LUCKY SABRE and close on the outside of KEEN WINNER. Then on straightening, DR MORE was shifted in abruptly to find running. After the 400 Metres, GREENMORE was steadied and shifted in when endeavouring to find running. Near the 200 Metres, GREENMORE was steadied when disappointed for running between DR MORE and KEEN WINNER which momentarily shifted in. DR MORE was sent for clinical veterinary examination and testing.
