Racing Incident Report

JEUNE KING PRAWN was withdrawn on 14.12.02 on veterinary grounds (lame right fore). Before JEUNE KING PRAWN can race again, it will be required to pass an official veterinary examination. Before being presented in the Parade Ring, CAYOKE had an adjustment made to its right hind plate. From a draw towards the outside, TILLERMAN was steadied on jumping and shifted across behind the field to take up a position closer to the rail but towards the rear. In the early stages, SCENIC PEAK was obliged to race wide without cover and proved somewhat difficult to settle. Approaching the 800 Metres, ELECTRONIC UNICORN was endeavouring to shift out, this caused some inconvenience to TILLERMAN. Then rounding the Home Turn, ELECTRONIC UNICORN and DUPONT came together due to ELECTRONIC UNICORN endeavouring to shift to the outside of OLYMPIC EXPRESS. About the 100 Metres, TILLERMAN was checked when disappointed for running between CAYOKE which shifted out and DUPONT which shifted in. In the circumstances, no action was taken. Also about the 100 Metres, TOKAI POINT and ELECTRONIC UNICORN came together. NOVERRE was sent for a clinical veterinary examination and sampling. After the race, NOVERRE was examined by the Veterinary Officer. No abnormalities were detected. ADMIRE COZZENE, OLYMPIC EXPRESS and ELECTRONIC UNICORN were sent for sampling.
