Racing Incident Report

STRATEGIC SELECT was slow to begin and shortly afterwards was crowded for room between SMART HORSE and DR WELL which shifted in away from TEMMOKU. FORTUNE DANCER was slow to begin. THUNDER MAN began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped A PLUS FIT. BEING FAMOUS bounded in the air at the start. From the outside gate, LUCKY HANDS travelled wide and without cover and in the middle stages when proving difficult to settle was allowed to stride forward. On straightening, FUJI SUNRISE was steadied and shifted to the outside of DONGGUAN VICTORY. FORTUNE DANCER made the Home Turn awkwardly. For some distance approaching the 100 Metres, FAT CHANCE and TEMMOKU raced tight as a result of TEMMOKU shifting out away from BEING FAMOUS. At the 100 Metres, TEMMOKU was checked when crowded for room between FAT CHANCE and BEING FAMOUS which shifted out away from FORTUNE DANCER which itself after being held up for running was shifted towards the outside of SMART HORSE. In the opinion of the Stewards, there were circumstances surrounding this incident and therefore no action was taken. FAT CHANCE was sent for an official veterinary inspection and sampling. A veterinary inspection of FAT CHANCE after the race did not show any significant findings. LUCKY HANDS and DR WELL were sent for sampling.
