Racing Incident Report
TIGER RIDGE was withdrawn on 28.6.05 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter GOLDEN CARE (F Coetzee). Before being allowed to race again, TIGER RIDGE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination. SILVER WRAITH and HONOUR SUPREME were slow to begin. JOLLY GAINS began awkwardly, stumbled, then shifted out and bumped RICE FIELD. HIGHLILLI blundered at the start. Shortly after the start, HONOUR SUPREME was steadied when crowded for room between EVERY TIME which shifted in and GOLDEN CARE which was taken out by RICE FIELD which in turn was taken out by JOLLY GAINS which itself was also taken out by HIGHLILLI. Passing the 200 Metres, THE WORLD OF LOVE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of CLASSA FOR EVER which shifted in. ALWAYS WELCOME was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of ALWAYS WELCOME after the race did not show any significant findings. JOLLY GAINS, HIGHLILLI and HONOUR SUPREME were sent for sampling.
