Racing Incident Report

NOBLE BOSS was slow to begin. POSA began awkwardly, got its head up and lost ground. Making the turn at the 2000 Metres, EVER KING shifted in, bumped FLYING PROFILE, then shifted out and made contact with BEST CHOICE. Making the turn at the 1800 Metres, SUDDEN SPLENDOR proved difficult to settle when being steadied to obtain a position with cover behind LAZY BUDDIES. Also making the turn at the 1800 Metres, FLYING PROFILE was awkwardly placed inside the heels of SPECIFIC SORCEROR. Then entering the Home Straight on the first occasion, FLYING PROFILE got its head on the side, shifted out and as a result caused inconvenience to EVER KING which was racing on its outside. NOBLE BOSS, which was following FLYING PROFILE, also made the turn awkwardly. Near the 1600 Metres, NOBLE BOSS was steadied away from the heels of FLYING PROFILE which shifted back towards the rail. Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, EVER KING got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of BAUHINIA. At the 1300 Metres, PURPLE GOLD was left racing wide without cover when BEST CHOICE strode forward to the lead. At the 1000 Metres, SPECIFIC SORCEROR, which was racing close to the heels of SUDDEN SPLENDOR, shifted to the outside of that horse. As a consequence, EVER KING was carried wider. At the 600 Metres, NOBLE BOSS was steadied and shifted out away from the heels of FLYING PROFILE. Making the Home Turn, FLYING PROFILE was steadied away from the heels of SUDDEN SPLENDOR. In the early part of the Straight, POSA raced ungenerously and got its head up. After the 100 Metres, SPECIFIC SORCEROR and LAZY BUDDIES bumped. SUDDEN SPLENDOR was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of SUDDEN SPLENDOR after the race did not show any significant findings. EVER KING, SPECIFIC SORCEROR and LAZY BUDDIES were sent for sampling.
