Racing Incident Report

After arriving at the saddling stalls, it was noted KINGSTON MARBLE had lost its right hind plate. The horse was re-plated and examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. KINGSTON MARBLE, INDUSTRIAL GLORY and ZAVONE were slow to begin. Despite being ridden along in the early stages, FLYING SPRINTER failed to muster speed and got back. In the early part of the Straight and again near the 100 Metres, O DANNY BOY had difficulty obtaining clear running. FLYING SPRINTER was sent for an official veterinary inspection. PLEZAYRE was sent for an official veterinary inspection and sampling. A veterinary inspection of FLYING SPRINTER and PLEZAYRE after the race did not show any significant findings. GLORY YEARS and ULTRA FANTASY were sent for sampling.
