Racing Incident Report
STRIKING MASCOT began awkwardly. KINGSTON TEMPLE and MASCOT FORTUNE were slow to begin. Near the 1100 Metres, MISSION was steadied when crowded for room inside ONE TOUCH (E Saint-Martin) which shifted in. E Saint-Martin was advised to exercise care. Near the 800 Metres, SOU MA TAM, which was racing keenly, got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of JOLLY WONGCHOY which shifted in when barely clear. In the circumstances, no action was taken. After this, SOU MA TAM continued to race keenly and was steadied away from the heels of ONE WORLD. OUR LUCKY BABY travelled wide and without cover throughout and hung out in the middle stages and in the early part of the Straight. After the 400 Metres, STRIKING MASCOT was steadied and shifted to the outside of ONE TOUCH into clear running. Over the concluding stages, MISSION hung in. OUR LUCKY BABY, MASCOT FORTUNE and ONE WORLD were sent for sampling.
