Racing Incident Report

When the gates opened, FLY ME TO THE MOON bounded in the air, began awkwardly and as a consequence lost ground. LIONS' FORTUNE began awkwardly. In the early stages, LUFENG FORTUNE and STEEL NERVES proved difficult to settle. Making the turn at the 800 Metres, DAILY DOUBLE was steadied away from the heels of PRECISION MAGIC. At the 700 Metres, HAPPY TOUCH became unbalanced when awkwardly placed inside STEEL NERVES. On straightening, FLY ME TO THE MOON was steadied and shifted to the outside of IMPLIED VOLATILITY to obtain clear running. For some distance after the 300 Metres, LEADER had difficulty obtaining clear running. After the 200 Metres, PRECISION MAGIC got its head on the side and shifted out abruptly. The performance of HAPPY TOUCH, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, HAPPY TOUCH will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in an official barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. DAILY DOUBLE, HAPPY TOUCH and SUPER FANTASY were sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of DAILY DOUBLE, HAPPY TOUCH and SUPER FANTASY after the race did not show any significant findings. HELENE ELITE, PRECISION MAGIC and LEADER were sent for sampling.
