Racing Incident Report

FEARLESS began awkwardly, bumped the outside gate of its stall and lost ground. NEVER LOOK BACK was slow into stride. At the 600 Metres, JACKPOT DELIGHT, which was shifting out to obtain clear running, was steadied when disappointed for running between HAWKES BAY and SPECIAL DAYS which improved around the outside. Making the Home Turn, FEARLESS and NOBLE CONQUEROR were carried wider by BULLISH CASH. Over the final 50 Metres, FEARLESS and JACKPOT DELIGHT raced tight and brushed on two occasions. HAWKES BAY and SPECIAL DAYS were sent for sampling. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that CALIFORNIAMOUNTAIN had bled from both nostrils.
